“The games at Billericay Town and Hungerford Town are they key matches of the round”
This weekend sees the final round of the regular league season.
At the end of the day three teams will get relegated, one team automatically promoted and six teams enter the play-offs to establish the 2nd promoted team to the National League.
Torquay United have already been proclaimed champions and will automatically return to the National League following their relegation at the end of last season.
Woking, who were also relegated last season, and Welling United will go straight into the play-off semi-finals. Chelmsford City, Bath City and Concord Rangers have booked their place in the play-off quarter finals
Five teams are still vying for the final play-off position. Billericay Town head the list and a final day home victory will guarantee their place in the play-offs. Should they fail to secure all three points St. Albans City, Dartford, Wealdstone and Slough Town can still dream of taking that 7th place in the table.
At the foot of the table Weston-s-Mare and East Thurrock United are already relegated. Truro City currently occupy the 3rd relegation place and need to win their last 'home' game to give them any chance of survival; although this will depend on Hungerford Town losing at home.
