Rebels National League visitors, Sutton United, need no introduction. The teams met last season in the 1st round proper of the F.A. Cup when Slough Town secured a 0 - 0 draw at home, before winning the replay at Sutton 8 - 7 in a penalty shoot-out, after drawing 1 - 1.
Soon thereafter the U's secured the services of Slough stalwart James Dobson. However, In the close season, he has now moved on to join fellow National League team Dagenham & Redbridge.

Their leading goal scorer was midfielder Craig Eastmond with 7 league goals.
In last season's F.A. Trophy Sutton were beaten in the 2nd round proper 3 - 0 , away, against Spennymoor Town.
The U's were one of two National League teams that were invited to play in the Scottish Challenge Cup (Boreham Wood was the other representative), entering at the 2nd round stage of the competition. They beat Airdrieonians 0 - 1 in the second round, but lost 3 - 4 on penalties after drawing 0 - 0 in Dublin against Irish representatives Bohemians in the next round.
The bookies are showing Sutton United as a mid-table bet for promotion.
Recent signings include strikers David Ajiboye from Worthing and Omar Bugiel ( a Lebanese international) from Bromley. Midfielder Jon Bardon has also been signed on contract (he was a non-contract player when he joined the club last February).
Yesterday, 11th July, the U's announced the signings of 20-year old centre back Ben Goodliffe, son of their assistant manager, released by Wolves. Last season he played on loan for Dagenham & Redbridge plus 21-year old striker Aaron Jarvis, released by Luton Town. Last season he turned out for Boreham Wood and Falkirk. Both are expected to be in the squad to play Rebels.
This will be Sutton's opening pre-season fixture as last weekend's friendly at Redhill was cancelled, although they had a 'private' match last Tuesday against Millwall, the Lions winning 2 - 0.
