As regards the ‘new’ Napton CC, this was the team’s first visit to this ground.
It is a very pleasant site with a fine pavilion and viewing area.
The swallows and martins criss-crossed the pitch continually. Mr & Mrs Swallow ignored us all to carry on feeding their offspring under the pavilion eaves.

A wicket falling in the second over was a shock.

Tom joined Mike at the crease.
This pair have some successful partnerships under their belts. They were to add another in this match.
Some fine running and boundary shots put the target in reach after 32 overs. A ‘six’ by Tom off the first ball in the 33rd over gave Napton victory with Mike ‘carrying his bat’.
