Football has been a part of my family for generations and I have been kicking a football since I could walk. Before joining Nelson I have played for many different clubs back home in Northern Ireland, most previously my local club Limavady United FC.

*how have you enjoyed the season so far?

I have really enjoyed my time at Nelson so far and getting that deserved win against Oswestry FC this weekend past has been the highlight for me so far!

*whats the best thing about playing for Nelson FC?

The team. Nelson has a great bunch of lads and the camaraderie both on and off the field is always memorable.

*how would you describe yourself as a player?

Team player. Playing for the team and getting results is more important than personal gain

*what do you do outside of football for work/study?

I am a student at Uclan in Preston

*what other hobbies and interests do you have?

I am all about sports. I will play anything with a ball and I also enjoy water and adventure sports.

*whos you biggest inspiration?

My parents are my biggest inspiration. Without them and without their effort and support over the years I wouldn't be where I am today!

For years as a youngster I played as a striker and now I'm playing I at full back.
