Colin died in the early hours of Wednesday morning, 11th April 2013. Colin, for many years, had been suffering from a very dehabilitating illness which eventually lead to a suddden heart attack.
He was a founder member, along with John Sutton and Alan Rush, of our Club, which began playing as New Ash Green Aztecs in the early 1970's.

Colin soon became the Club Chairman and retain this role for over thirty years. He recently relinguished this postion, owing to the severity of his illness, and he took over the role of Club President.
Over the years Colin managed several teams for the club but his main pride and joy was our Annual 5-a-side Tournament. This event he first arranged and organised, along with Len Taylor, over thirty years ago and, as the years passed and the tournament grew in size, he took emmence pride in knowing that it became the best event of its kind in SE England.

Colin will be sadly missed by all members of our club, both past and present, along with his wide group of friends and colleagues. We pass on our sincere condolences to Carole, Kevin, Lisa and Danny.

Colin's funeral will be held on Wednesday 8th May 2013 at St Peter & St Paul Church, Ash at 10.45am (please arrive at around 10.30am for seating) followed by a short service at Eltham Crematorium at 12.15pm.

Carole has requested that there will be family flowers only but that donations to The Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity or Cancer Research will be greatly appreciated.
