Tamworth stay top

Castle travelled to league leaders Tamworth hoping to reverse their only home defeat, but concede a try in the first minute and never got back in the game.

Castle had 80% of the play in the first half but were guilty of some wrong decision making and some poor execution ,where as Tamworth entered the Castle half 3 times and scored on every visit to make the half time score 13-0.

Castle were confident that if they improved their decision making and corrected there execution and continued to dominate possession they could still win the game, but Tamworth totally dominant the second half. Every t I me Castle had the ball the Tamworth defensive line speed forced errors from the Castle attack.

Castle did get a consolation try but that was it. Tamworth will surly be crowned champions at the end of the season and rightly so, the question is can Castle take second spot ?

Big game next week as Ecceshall come to visit on the back of 3 Ws so let's train hard and finish this third quarter with a win.
