Great turn out for a wet away day, Birdy the Cat, Pub Si, Ugly Crawf, Lol, Pipey, Boats Vinn, Mick, Fozz, Hacker, Purse, Sharpie, Shortland, Bob O, Reedy, Shaun, Mick on the line Dave smiler Wright, Edgar.

Brennan was back and with a plethora of players for Newmarket and with a bid of 10 Benson and Hedges and a pint of cheap lager Brennan was sold to the highest (and only) bidder. Seeing as CUP only had 8 players they were the winners of the sealed (and only) bid sale. Shaun and Bob O were also very kindly loaned out for the game but not permanently sold as was Brennan for the foreseeable future. Newmarket undoubtedly played the better football but when Boats failed to deal with a cross that was fired across the Newmarket defence Bren was there to smash it home "the best moment of my career" he screamed as he ran down Brooklands Avenue.
Newmarket pressed and pressed and to be fair CUP could have gone further ahead with headers that could have been buried in the Jockeys net, somehow Bren managed to get another goal for his new team as they went in two up.
Sharpie who found his shooting boots rifled home a stunner to get Newmarket back into the game, CUP were beginning to wilt and were now considering asking for the fags and beer back as Brennan started to show his true colours, not working back - thinking HIS work was done and aimlessly strutting around the pitch. Newmarket were now dominant and Sharpie showed what a natural born killer he is as he levelled the scores and then could not believe it when he missed with another shot as he could only hit the side netting. Newmarket pressed again and Vinnie could have finished to take the win, but settled for another draw and remain unbeaten this season.
