Milton had to work hard to respond to the play of the well drilled and coached Sandown & Shanklin ( Hurricanes) side who piled on the pressure throughout both halves scoring a total of 12 tries, 7 converted, against Milton's 3, 2 converted.
Hurricanes were quickly into scoring mode a penalty gave them a 5 mtr line which they drove over to score this was quickly followed by their backs running in to score from their own half.
A turn over on Milton's line gained by Dale Smith gave Milton possession which Connor Coombs used to make a break out of the Milton's 22, but a following penalty award that did not make touch Hurricanes gained possession to score a converted try.
From the kick off Milton played some good passing rugby to create pressure in the Hurricanes 22 and after some attempts from the forwards Ben Gould succeeded in getting the touch down,well converted by Adam Lavis.
Hurricanes gained advantage of a ball coming out of the side of a Milton scrum which they used well to touch down, then a series of penalties against Milton resulted in 2 further touch downs for Hurricanes.
Good follow up from a Milton kick ahead lead by Sam Hattib resulted in good possession which the backs used well passing out to wing Jude Payne who touched down, Lavis added the extras.
Half Time 14 – 36
The onslaught continued in the second half, Milton were trying different plays, short kicks ahead and trying to get the backs moving but it resulted in lost possession at the break down and a further further 5 tries for the Hurricanes.
The whole Milton team continued work hard throughout the whole match at tackling some sizeable and speedy Hurricanes backs and forwards.
Finally within the last minutes of the half a good passing move gave the ball to Sam Bew who ran in to score, only for Hurricanes to finish the match scoring their final try.
