Newport Pagnell Town manager Darren Lynch on their 2-2 draw with Deeping Rangers:
"Today we welcomed Deeping to Willen Road, in which was a massive game in context of the league table.
We started well and were on the front foot from the first whistle but fair play to them they came with a game plan and it was pretty even for the opening exchanges, the game was very tight between 2 teams that’ll be vying for promotion at the end of the season and it took a bit of magic to take the lead.
Mark Osborn’s kick was flicked on by Tom Liversedge and Fazel Koriya latched onto it and produced an unbelievable chip catching the keeper off his line and giving us the lead.
From then on it was to and fro but with 2 minutes to go before half time we allowed Mooney time and space outside the box and he punished us.
We came out the 2nd half and straight from the restart we were sloppy and again were punished, 2-1 down but I was confident in the lads and we begun to put pressure on them which eventually led to Tom Liversedge being brought down for a pen.
Fazel again stepped up and slotted it away to get us level, the rest of the half was very tight with little scoring opportunities so I would say a draw was a fair result."
