On the way to the title Pembrokeshire hosted Carmarthenshire League back in October and came out 3-2 winners, then in January they won on the road against the Neath League 1-0 and a Swansea League team 1-0.

Neyland AFC would like to congratulate their players who represented the side during the campaign:- Ian Baker (assistant Manager), Patrick Hannon, who played the latter two games and kept two clean sheets, Henry Durrant, who played the first game and came on as a substitute in the last game, Keiron Howells, an unused substitute in the first game and Geraint Rees who was involved in the originally name squad but unfortunately never made it into any match day squad. Not to mention the Neyland AFC medical bag which was used during all 3 matches.

Congratulations to all involved, especially the small Neyland contingent.

Following this years' competition a West Wales representative side has been put together to play in the Uefa Regions Cup qualifying round against Gwent FA. That match is due to be played in February 2017. In preparation for this game a friendly is lined up against Llanelli FC at Stebonheath on Tuesday 31st January. Neyland AFC has learned that Goalkeeper Patrick Hannon has been selected as part of the squad for that match, we wish him all the best for that game. We would also like to congratulate the two other Pembrokeshire based players selected - Scott Delany and Jonny Horgan.
