Northleach Junior Football Club began in 2006 originally as an after school "kickaround club" for children too young to join more serious training sessions run at our school by Cheltenham Town FC.

Eleven years on, we now have over 60 children registered with teams competing in the Cotswold Youth League, Cheltenham and the North Wiltshire Youth Football League. The younger children taking part in fun training sessions as part of our recently formed Woollies "Football School".

Our principle is and will remain "football is fun". Our teams compete vigorously, but we never forget that the grass roots game is about friends, families and fun.

As a community club we are extremely well supported by parents and volunteers. Come to our playing field when the teams are playing at home and the Woollies Football School is in full swing, and the support can be very noisy indeed - but always fair and sportsmanlike.
