1st Game BB 1 Brackley 2. This match started with much anticipation with it being the first match of the season & training showing signs of much improvement & coming together as a team. BB started well pressing Brackley at every breakdown & proving the BB forwards would prove to be the dominant pack.Reece managed to break the deadlock, after a number of rucks he seized the opportunity reaching over the try line to score the first try of the season. The 2nd half started in much the same way with plenty of pressure from BB & Brackley not showing creativity to breakdown the defence of BB. Brackley gave away a penalty & BB went for touch & missed by a few feet, Brackley then seized the opportunity to run free & score. This gave Brackley the impetus required to seize the initiative to find that extra gear & attacked at every opportunity. With moments left Brackley were attacking & BB's defence was like a brick wall not wavering under the pressure. BB managed to hold up 2 try attempts but Brackley managed to find the only gap in the defence to score with the last play of the match.

2nd Game BB 1 Peterborough 1

3rd Game BB 0 Men's Own 4

4th Game BB 9 Milton Keynes 0. The team had time to recharge their batteries prior to this match & it showed with the boys not only winning every breakdown but having the confidence to play fast running rugby. BB crossed the line 4 times in the first half with great rugby and the odd flash of personal skill, scoring tries for BB were Felix, Dylan, Kian & Stanley. With the 2nd half came the hope of more scoring opportunities & trying to keep MK out. BB managed to run in another 5 tries and controlled the game from start to finish. 2nd half try scorers were Harry Neill, Elliot, Reece, Peter & Elliot. All parents applauded the team off with an extra amount of pride at the never give up attitude & it showed that the extra work in training really does pay off. Well done all.
