Frank had been ill for a long time and despite having some better times during his illness he gradually deteriorated until it just got too much for him. He was in hospital and passed away in his sleep.
Frank joined Mens Own in about 1968 and was a very "competitive" strong player. He played in the back row and eventually made his mark at prop forward.
He went on to coach / manage Colts sides producing the likes of Harvey Thornycroft, Mark James, Carl Ellis and many others.

A true Mens Own man through and through.

Frank's funeral will be at 15:15 on Monday 21st October at Milton Crematorium followed by a gathering at Mens Own Rugby Club.
