John played for the club in the 1940/1950 era and had been an avid supporter up until his passing.
Always known as 'Banny' he attended the club on most Saturdays and anyone that played will remember his dulcet tones telling them to TACKLE!!!
Banny was a handyman to have around the club and until a f ew years ago carried out many repairs and was an original member of the Friday Morning Gang that clean the changing rooms and mark pitches.
He was a friend to everyone and will be sadly missed.
