Scouts took the game to their hosts, gained a try bonus point within fifteen minutes, and coasted through the rest of the game.
With some strong running and slick passing they clocked up four tries through Bobby Bland, Dean Lake, Lewis Underwood and Calum Inwood and with three conversions from Adam Frost went 26 points ahead.
Matthew Cockman intercepted to run in and dot down mid-way through the half and with Frost converting the game was as good as won. Buckby eventually discovered Scouts line and touched down after Scouts had given away several penalties.
Cockman added his second early in the second half with a typical burst from twenty metres before Buckby added their second try. Scouts immediately responded when replacement winger Kelvin Dwumfuo scored his maiden first team try as Scouts hit fifty points. Frost added the extras to both.
A mixture of empathy, replacements, and changes due to injury saw Buckby take advantage of their infamous slope to run in three tries and gain a bonus point.
