This was a busy and ultimately frustrating weekend for the U12s.
On Saturday they played 2 very even and closely fought games against a touring Doncaster Knights side with each team winning 1 match.
Scouts won the first game 7-0 with the solitary try coming in the first half scored by Rhys. After the scrum had won the ball against the head it was passed swiftly through the backs for the score. Sam converted to give Scouts the win.
Knights got their revenge in the second match. Again this was a closely contested game between two very evenly matched sides. Scouts tries game through two fine individual efforts by Lucas with Sam converting one. However, Knights were good value for their win which they achieved courtesy of both conversions going over.
Hopefully the tourists enjoyed their time with us and managed to get their kit cleaned in time for their matches on Sunday.
Well done Sam for being named player of the day.
