Hi everyone,

I’m back with a rugby update for this Saturday. It’s another full-on rugby activity weekend as we return from the winter hibernation.



Saturday 21st January
Our mini rugby section kicks off the weekend at 9am with 200 primary-aged players training til 1030

Straight afterwards, our East Youth Cup teams are at home at the rec
U16a host Jed-Thistle
And
U18a host George Watson’s b
Both ties are at 1030

Meanwhile at the High School
U14 host Musselburgh at 1030
And
U15 host St Leonard’s/Madras Blues also at 1030

The U13s travel to Pinkie to play Musselburgh at 1000

All that before the First XV face Forrester at South Gyle, a 1400 kickoff in the League, looking to extend our run to 12 wins from 12.


Sunday 22nd January
We continue on Sunday when the U16b side host Dunfermline at 1200

That’s before the mini section are represented by 60 of our P5, P6 & P7 players as guests of Edinburgh Rugby at the DAM Health Stadium, welcoming the teams onto the pitch as the Guard of Honour and playing some short games on the pitch at half-time.
