The North Derbyshire Chargers have announced a number of new partnerships for the 2017 season.

As in previous years, the club are members of the Featherstone Rovers Ambassador scheme and are working with the Sheffield Eagles and Include Foundation to improve access to the sport in the area.

The first new partnership is a partership arrangement with the Bronte Barbarians to enable the club to enter more age groups into the Yorkshire Junior League and regular competitive fixtures plus opportunities for shared player and coach development. The arrangement will also allow players registered with the Barbarians to take part in the regular development days run by the Chargers involving Immingham Wasps and new players from the North Derbyshire and North Nottingham areas.

The second announcement is the link up with A Future In Sport as a Rugby League Ambassador Club. A Future In Sport are a not-for-profit organisation who work to provide opportunities for disadvantaged communities to become involved in sport - both off and on the field.

This partnership will give the Chargers access to a number of services delivered by the company to improve development opportunities for coaches and volunteers as well as practical skills relating to venue and facilities management.
