Thoughts from Franklin: “ Hoping to get back to winning ways this weekend, it has been a tough couple of weeks for us as a club. The loss in the league to Drayton we weren’t good enough in all be it tricky conditions but we never gave us and we continued to fight. Last week against Five Bells was the worst I have seen us play in a long time, again under testing conditions with injuries throughout the game, you would still like to see some fight which I couldn’t see.

This period of our season is crucial and we need to bounce back and bounce back quickly otherwise our season could be over before it has even really started in truth.

Our injury list is now 13+ long, any team would struggle, I don’t care how good the squad is.

We will come back stronger and show people what we are all about when we face up against the unbeaten side sitting at the top of the table on Sunday.”
