North Greenford Utd march on to the next round with a very good performance against a honest and good Chalvey Sports side who never gave up. Special mention to their Goalkeeper who made a string of very good saves in the second half.
Straight from the kick off NGU attacked and were rewarded with a first minute goal when Conor Molyneaux played a through ball to Charlie Mitchell who calmly slotted the ball underneath the advancing keeper. After 15 minutes it was 2-0 when Ryan King played a superb angled pass out to Sam Molyneaux who crossed for Georgie Brown to slot in at the far post. After 17 minutes the Chalvey goalkeeper made a great double save from Charlie Mitchell and Melford Simpson. On 22 minutes Charlie Mitchell fired over after a good move involving Joe Mills and Georgie Brown. On 30 minutes Sam House was called into action for the first time making a comfortable save. Joe Mills was booked after 37 minutes and on 40 minutes it was 3-0 with a far post header from Georgie Brown. It wasn't long before it was 4-0 with a Joe Mills goal from the edge of the box. After a bit of handbags and exchanging phone numbers Ryan King received a booking. Chalvey got a penalty after 44 minutes when Melford Simpson in a nice way bundled over a Chalvey player in the area. Sam House guessed the right way but the ball just went inside the post. Half time came with Greenford delighted with the first half performance.

Andrew Manitou came on for Conor Molyneaux at half time. Joe Mills fired a free kick just wide after 47 minutes. Chalvey fired a free kick wide after 49 minutes. The Chalvey keeper made another double save after 50 minutes from Charlie Mitchell and Dan Clifton. After 53 minutes Georgie Brown completed his hat-trick with a rebound tap in. After 58 Billy Leonard came on for Georgie Brown. Chances came and went for both sides with Joe Mills hitting the post twice with a couple of shots. After 73 minutes Charlie Mitchell was replaced by Romane Rochester. There were no more goals as the game came to an end. The Blues have started the season well and we move on to the next round with an away tie at Oxhey Jets.
