It is with great sadness that we have to report the passing of North Merchiston Vale player David Halleran on the morning of Sunday 8th December, aged 31 years old.

Although Dave only joined the club during the summer of 2013 he quickly became a popular member of the squad bringing with him great humour and real enthusiasm for football. He showed a real passion for the game, so much that during his spell out with injuries he gave back to the football world by coaching youth football.

David will be fondly remembered by everyone involved with the club and we would like to send our condolences to all of his family and friends in this time of sorrow.
