It was a great achievement for the Spanish goalkeeper, who joined the Vale in 2011, winning the award despite the teams relegation from the division last season and highlights what an important part of the team he has become over the last few years.

Manu adds this award, voted for by fellow clubs in the Premier 2 Division, to his Club Player of the Year & Players Player of the Year trophies awarded at the NMV end of season dinner in June.

Credit must also be given to fellow Vale keeper Chris Donaldson for his part in Manu's development since coming to Scotland.
