The Blues will start their competitive season at home to London Japanese this saturday

It will be the only chance for The Blues to stamp their authority down before the MMT season starts for both squads on 20th Sept.

After a very promising trial game last week which saw a huge effort from all players bidding for their positions, Northolt's selection committee might be left scratching their heads as competition has dramatically increased. Another surge of recruitment through the summer has resulted in another wave of players young and old being introduced at Cayton Park.

  • Ali Slaughter and Tony Murphy took their Captaincy roles for the first time for the 1st and 2nd squads respectively.

  • Lithuanian Donny impressed in the centres with a terrific solo effort try along with many runs- now working to improve on his defensive work rate.

  • Hooker Peter clattered into action with some bone crunching tackles and energy to get about the pitch.

  • Returning from injury, Dominic Dunne tried his hand at centre, scoring from distance.

  • Stalwart Mark Johnson continued his lengthy run of form into this campaign with impressive tackling and rucking.

  • And on his return to Fly Half, Adam Harding brought a blast from the past, going down injured twice!

With the club ever increasing, Northolt's future certainly looks bright and will hope to conquer for years to come.

Up the holt!
