It with great regret that I have to announce the untimely passing of one of our stalwart supporters Mr John Winder, who sadly died on Thursday 28th August.

In recent seasons John was one of our most loyal supporters always in situ behind the posts in his car, for which he was always allocated a parking space. He very rarely missed a home game, and if he wasnt present then you knew that he was not too well.

Our sincere condolences go to all of Johns family and friends, of which there are many. Johns family have a long standing well regarded reputation in the livestock industry, especially amongst cattle, and he was exceptionally well respected the length and breadth of the country for his knowledge of all things Bovine.

We observed a minutes silence last night before our pre season friendly with Moortown to pay our clubs respect to a man who was liked and respected in equal measure by all who knew him.
