Senior rugby returned to North Shields RFC this Saturday with the 2021 playing of the annual internal club fixture between the players and veterans Chesties Challenge.

Harry Watson led the veterans with Scott Murphy captaining the players. It was a competitive fixture played under the current law variations of no scrums and mauls. The veterans ran out 31-15 winners.
