New Captain Announced

***CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT***

Head Coach Keith Christie has selected his Playing Leadership group for the upcoming 2019/20 season.

Brett Sylph will lead the side as 1st XV skipper and Richard “Flash” Carr and Ricki Hasnip will support him as Vice Captains.

A huge Thankyou goes to Dave Anderson who led the Blue & Whites through their most successful season in recent years, the skipper lifting the County Senior Plate in front of a packed Kingston Park and then seeing Shields promoted back to Durham & Northumberland 1 for the first time since the 2006/07 season. Dave chose to retire at the end of last season confident that the club were in good hands.

Only a decade ago the club were competing in Durham & Northumberland 3, promoted as Champions in 2010/11 and these are exciting times for the boys of Preston Playing Fields.
