This weekend the 1xv entertain “Northern II’s” at home. This being the first of two cup games in the group stages, against Novos 1xv and Northern 2xv. Gosforth unfortunately pulled out.

Northern have a good number of lads playing who have played first team this season, 3 regularly over the last few months. We have checked the validity of this and they have had it passed by Ken Frazer, the head of competitions.

A tough game lies ahead as “The Wanderers” finished 4th top of Div 1 of the Candy League.

The 1xv have Davie Wilson, stepping up to play his first 1’s game.

Big Nick Brown returns along with Gav Duffy and Dan Pattinson stepping up following spells away with the navy. Matty Orrick transport problems and Ben Langley illness have dropped out over last 24 hours - With Phil Smith stepping up with Joe Cozens. Lead coach Ricki Hasnip returns following injury.
