A young RGC 7s squad failed to replicate the success of last year by not reaching the semi finals of this years Fosters 7s Tournament at the BT Arms Park Stadium but nonetheless can still feel proud of their efforts.

Their opening game against Llanelli saw them run out 40 points to 14 winners before they came up short against Bridgend by 31 points to 19 in their second round match. In the latter game they were 19 points down at half-time but pulled that back to a 5 point margin before Bridgend sealed their win with a try with the final play of the game.
