Congratulations to our 1XV Manager Joel Baker and club legends Dave Farley, Kirk Naylor, Chris Eyres and Pete Matzen for completing the 3 Lake Challenge in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

This challenge saw them canoe the 3 largest lakes in The Lake District, Windermere, Coniston and Ullswater totalling 23 miles in under 10 hours. They did it with their friend Scott Fullwood, whose 2 sons both play in our M&J’s, in memory of his dad Bob Fullwood.
“It’s an absolute pleasure taking part in these annual challenges for Macmillan. Cancer touches everyone, either directly or caring for someone who has it. The work that Macmillan do to support families is the real challenge, we do the easy part” says Joel.
