Opposition & opening fixtures are confirmed for the new season, which now gives opportunity to introduce our adversaries for the coming campaign.

Last season Wirral finished 10th in North Premier Pl 20, W7, D1, L12, Pts 55.
Since promotion this is their lowest finishing position in 6 years at National level 5.
Head coach Simon Verbickas has been a regular visitor to Moss Farm in his RFU role assisting in our juniors set-up.
During the close season Wirral have been recruiting adding strength to their ranks M Byrne moved back to the Wirral and transferred from Kettering RFU, R Flook coming from Morpeth & Anselmians ex-skipper N Hearn.
Our last meeting was in 2011/12, although we lost the away fixture earlier in the season 20-19, Northwich won the return 27-15 with tries from G Robbinson (2), C James & Gallimore, 2 conversions and penalty Grant Hallam.

Round 8 - Saturday 24th October – Rossendale (H)
Round 9 - Saturday 31st October – Sandal (A)
Round 10 - Saturday 14th November – Wirral (H)
Round 11 - Saturday 21st November – Burnage (A)
Round 12 - Saturday 28th November – Lymm (H)
Round 13 - Saturday 5th December – Macclesfield (A)
Round 14 - Saturday 12th December – Bye

Please note - Once a return to rugby date is set, league competition will begin with the fixture listed for that weekend, with any prior games being moved to Round 15. For example, if rugby cannot return to play until Round 5, 3rd October Northwich first fixture will be an away game against Lymm, with Rounds 1-4 being played after our Round 14 “Bye” week.
Depending on the return to rugby date, any further rounds of fixtures will be confirmed in due course.
