The front man signed for Stow from Wroxham this summer after scoring 11 goals in 21 games but after finding the travel commitments to much has decided to call time on his Stowmarket career after two months.

Manager Steve Eastaugh acted quick to add Charlie to his attacking options and said ‘‘We are really pleased to get Charlie in. He’s a player who was on our list pre season but had already signed for Stowmarket Town FC before we had the chance to talk. He has the qualities we look for in our forward players and after a solid start to the season we felt now was the right time to strengthen the group. He knows many faces already in our dressing room and we hope this will make for a quick transition for him on and off the pitch.’

We’d all like to offer Charlie a warm welcome to Plantation Park.
