Liam Jackson returns to Plantation Park for a second spell with the club.

Norwich United are delighted to confirm popular striker Liam Jackson has signed for the club for a second time after a previous successful spell. Jackson returns to Plantation Park following a year away after spending 2020/2021 with Step 3 side Leiston.

Always a fans favourite at Plantation Park, Liam returns following his previous spell at the club which saw him give 4 successful years service to the Planters. Following this spell Liam was signed by Leiston and scored 8 goals in 12 appearances during the 2020/2021 season with the suffolk club.

Liam expressed his delight at returning to Plantation Park, "I am very pleased to have signed for Norwich United once again, a club very close to my heart. I return following a spell at Leiston which helped me develop as a player and I will be returning to Norfolk a better all rounded player, I have enjoyed a break during the lockdown but I begin my Pre-Season now with the my focus and determination set on helping The Planters get promotion in 2021/2022"

Another big draw to return for Liam was the current management team at Norwich United, spearheaded by Steve Eastaugh, "I have had enquiries from around Norfolk but when Steve contacted me and offered me the opportunity to return, it was an absolute no brainer, I had to say yes. Steve signed me for my first spell at the club and we have a great working relationship which will hopefully bring continued success in the new season"

Manager Steve Eastaugh also expressed delight at securing Liam's services for the upcoming campaign, ''This is a significant signing for the club and our thanks go to the chairman for supporting us to make this happen. We know what we are getting with Liam with his goals and his work ethic, but most importantly we know he has the character and mentality of what we expect from a Norwich United player.''
