
On Saturday we welcome Whitton United to Plantation Park in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division. We look forwarto to welcoming The Greens players, officials and supporters.
Our last home game saw us record a 2-0 win over a very physical and vocal Brantham Athletic. We then travelled to Woodbridge Town and returned with a 4-0 win. Last Saturday saw us bow out of the Norfolk Senior Cup, we did everything but score but went out to a determined UEA side on penalties. We bounced back in fine style on Tuesday evening winning at Gorleston 3-0 which has seen us move up to third in the table.
Whitton United arrive in fine form recording five wins and three draws in their last eight games and last Saturday Thomas Bradlaugh scored the only goal of the game as they won at Walsham-le-Willows. When the two side met in August it was two early goals from Liam Jackson which helped secure the Planters a 2-1 victory.
On Tuesday we travel to Mildenhall Town in the League Cup quarter-final, kick-off 7.45pm, next Saturday we head to the coast to take on Kirkley & Pakefield (3pm). On Tuesday, February 11 we make the long journey to Stanway Rovers (7.45pm) Our next home game is on Saturday, February 15 when we host Godmanchester Rovers, kick-off 3pm.
Our U21s are at home next Saturday when Attleborough Town are the visitors, kick-off at 2pm. The U18s next game is at home to Diss Town on Thursday, kick-off 7.45pm.
