SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE CLUB

We are a community organisation and not just a football club, we offer a range of services to the community, they are as follows;

FOOTBALL ACTIVITIES:

We encourage and provide opportunities to everyone from all communities, including girls and women to get involved with all aspects of grass roots football, including coaching and managing teams. We strive to provide a safe and conducive environment for everyone, with particular focus on children; we encourage dialogue and personal development and we listen to everyone, regardless of their status or position at the club.

SUPPORTED ACCOMMODATION:
We provide supported accommodation to young people aged 16-25, we provide bedsit accommodation in a flat or a house for a maximum of about 3 years; if the tenant requires help in any aspects of housing, employment or training then we are on hand to help, we also engage the services of a local housing charity to provide help and assistance as and when needed. We only accommodate vulnerable or disadvantaged young people regardless of race, gender or sexuality. We currently have 4 bedsits in management.

MOTORING PROJECT:
We provide an apprenticeship style training and education experience to young people who want to work in the motoring industry, this service provides them with valuable hands-on experience within the motor trade, which provides them with the knowledge and experience to apply for work, undertake further training or to set up their own business. The service is aimed at young people aged 16-21 who did not take exams at school, or who failed their exams, or those young people with no qualifications.

SCHOOL MINIBUS SERVICE:
We provide a minibus service to local schools, we help schools to keep transport costs down by offering a minibus with driver service at a lower rate than that which is charged by local hire companies.

VOLUNTEERING:
The Club prides itself on promoting and encouraging community action, and we see volunteering as a good opportunity for people to play an active and positive part in their community. We provide volunteering opportunities for everyone in all aspects of the club and and we foster an environment of giving back to the community as well as providing the opportunity for those who volunteer to gain a broad range of skills, knowledge and experience in order to help improve their opportunities in life.

FA CRC ONLINE DISCLOSURE REGISTERED:
The club is registered with the FA to undertake Criminal Records checks for anyone associated with the club. We are registered to use the FA Online Disclosure service.
