This weekend saw Hamians travel to North Notts to meet league leaders Ashfield .

After being threatened by three drug fuelled children at the meeting point we drove northwards ...

The game went to script with hamians showing early the ability to threaten and then give cheap respite to the local side .

Ashfield showed with peanlty and exploting hamians inability to clear their lines to be 8 nil infront and expecting to bully more points .

With the devils cloth awaiting hamians despite Hobbit being carded produced rugby of which they are capable . Jimmy scorched over to make it 8-5

Half time and the skipper asked for cream to rise to the top ...and so dogged defence reministant of Zulu Dawn followed . After the rope a dope period hamians swaggered down for Matt the Hat to go over under the posts

Ashfield tried to mount a challenge to score but age and treachery has its place and hamians proved to be the victors
