The Supporters' Co-operative volunteers have been working closely with the Club for the return of fans’ to Liberty Way.

The Supporters' Co-operative volunteers have been working closely with the Club to ensure that the ground is looking its best for the new season and also to ensure all supporter facilities are all fully functioning.

The Club has a lengthy 'to-do list', some of these items are already in hand thanks to the generosity of various Club sponsors. The Co-operative already has electrical work in the away end toilets in hand, however, there are still a number of jobs to do which could be undertaken by an all-round tradesperson, or indeed a competent DIY individual. Cash payment (financed by the 200 Club Ground maintenance fund) can be made upon satisfactory completion of the work, subject to a realistic pre-work estimate.

The following covers the majority of the outstanding work:-

-Make good and rehang 2 doors in ladies toilets adjacent to the Club Shop.
-Fit new hinge(s) to the door in the 'away' changing room.
-Hand basin in 'away' toilet requires securing.
-Tap in the kitchen requires attention.
-Replace ceiling tiles.
-Photos/Shirts to be reaffixed to walls in the bar.
-Advertising boards to be installed at the back of the main stand, probably 3 max.

Priority will be given to a Boro sponsor/ supporter for completion as soon as possible with a deadline of 22 July.

Finally, there still remains plenty of jobs to be done at the ground, mainly painting, so if you can give the volunteers a boost we would love to hear from you. The majority of volunteers meet on Tuesday mornings but with time pressing on other times can be accommodated.

If you are interested in undertaking any of the above-mentioned work or can assist our volunteers then please contact Mike Turner on 0785 4175522.

On behalf of the club, if any supporters are free this week (Mon-Fri Office Hours) we are looking for help in getting a few small jobs done around the ground to be ready for our first friendly against Stockport County next Saturday.

We will be holding a ‘Volunteers Day’ on Saturday 30th July to get all remaining jobs done ahead of the league campaign on Saturday 6th August. Refreshments and hot food will be provided so even if you can spare an hour or so then please pop along!

We appreciate all the help, time & effort from our incredible volunteers - Thank You
