The midfielder has signed on ahead of the 2020/21 season.

Jimmy Ginnelly has added to his squad for the 2020/21 season with the confirmation that Jordan Goddard will be at the club when football resumes.

Goddard joined Boro from Alvechurch at the start of December and made his debut in the 1-0 victory at Barwell.

Despite receiving two red cards, Jordan's work-rate and ability was clear for all to see before the season was postponed.

Speaking after signing on, he said: "I'm really happy to have signed again for Nuneaton. The fans didn’t really get to see the best of me last year with me suffering two suspensions in a short space of time so I feel like I have a lot to show them.

"Hopefully they have seen glimpses of what I’m about as a player and I will be able to show them a lot more once the season gets underway. I have great hopes for the season and thoroughly believe this team is going places and I’m glad to be part of it."

The former Bristol Rovers man joins Tony Breeden and Jamie Hood to sign on from last season for Jimmy Ginnelly. The Boro manager has spoken about his delight of how his squad is coming on.

"The squad is coming together slowly but surely, as another one of last years group agrees his deal with the gaffer. I'm delighted that Jordan as agreed to stay with us for another season, I think he’d be the first to say that it didn’t quite go to plan for him when he joined us midway through the season.

"He got sent off in his first game for the club away at Barwell, then on his return, he got sent off again against Biggleswade and he’s ended up missing quite a few games.

Ginnelly continued: "So with him missing 5 games we didn’t really see the best of Jordan and I’m sure he’s got the bit between his teeth to show you supporters what he can do. He’s a very fit lad and he’s bought into what my plans are for the club in the next 24 months, onwards and upwards for both parties. Welcome back Jordan I’m looking forward to your goals from midfield."
