This weekend sees the start of their first campaign for our newly formed juniors and ladies teams.
Mark Grimes said “this is the final stage of our new development centre for this season, a lot of hours and hard work has got us to this point, it is very exciting for the Club and the local community.”
Boro will be represented in the Midland Junior Premier League, starting on Saturday 7th September, by their Under 10's, 12's, 14's and Under 16's teams.
On Sunday 8th September, our Under 8’s kick off in the Nuneaton & Bedworth Minor League and our Under 12's get underway in the Coventry Youth League.
Also on Sunday, the Boro Ladies team, managed by Danny Cole, play their first competitive game in the Birmingham County Womens League.
Boro Under 18's , under the guidance of Lee Petch, have already started their league season with one win out of two games.
The Under 21's, managed by Scott Parsons, are also up and running in the Midland Football League Under 21's Division with two wins out of three games to their name.
Mark Grimes added “I want to thank all the players, parents, coaches and managers that have joined us to make this all possible. It is exciting to see Boro begin to create this pathway from junior to youth football and then ultimately on to our senior teams.
I would also like to thank Jason Dean, Michael Beale, Mark Thompson, Adam Etheridge and the Supporters Co-operative for all their help to make sure we got this off the ground.
Thanks to the backing of Jimmy Ginnelly, Adam Hayes, Justin Palmer and the board of directors we have a very bright future ahead of us.“
