Just four days before the start of the season, the Daniels, who play in the Northern Premier League Division One East (Step 4) will give Jimmy Ginnelly's side a final preseason test.

The Boro' have played Stamford six times shared equally home and away, two preseason trips and four FA Cup ties, most recently in the 2007/8 season when Boro' bounced back after going behind, to a glorious eighth-minute strike from Tyrone Kirk, Gavin Cowan levelled almost immediately though. An own goal from Adam Jones, a Tom Curtis penalty and a further goal from Danny Williams saw Boro' through to face Chasetown in the 4th Qualifying Round.
