Nuneaton will be keen to forget about Saturday’s opening day defeat against Kings Langley with a trip to Banbury United on Tuesday evening.

Lango defeated Boro 3-0 at Liberty Way, despite the home side failing to capitalise on a number of opportunities. Matthew Weiss headed past Belford after 10 minutes before defender Akebiyi’s clearance looped over Belford, with assistance from the windy conditions. Substitute Harrison Crawford confirmed the result for the visitors late in the second-half to condemn Jimmy’s boys to defeat.

Tuesday’s opponents, Banbury United, drew their first game at Redditch United on Saturday. Mike Ford’s men will be excited for Tuesday’s game, giving the Puritans opportunity to impress their home crowd.
