Tuesday 17th September, 7.45pm kick-off;

Stourbridge are the opponents next up at Liberty Way as Nuneaton look to get back to winning ways after a disappointing result on Saturday at the hands of Biggleswade Town.

A frustrating 2-0 defeat left Boro scratching their heads as to how the game ended the way it did.
Long periods of pressure and balls into the box counted for nothing in the end as failure to progress in the final third meant Jimmy Ginnelly is still looking for his first away win of the season.

Former Stourbridge forwards Luke Benbow and Callum Powell will be facing their previous employers on Tuesday night as the West Midlands side look to build on a 5-1 win against Leiston on Saturday afternoon.

Manager Ian Long will be traveling to Nuneaton with confidence based on the performances of his side and the league standings.

It is vital that Nuneaton become stubborn in defence and clinical in attack if any points are going to be gained at Liberty Way.

The last time these two sides met was back in March this year as Boro were victorious by two goals to one in the Birmingham Senior Cup.

Goals either side of half time meant Nuneaton were 2-0 up in the tie via Mike Calveley and Ryan Edmunds before Kaiman Anderson halved the deficit in the 86th minute of the game.
However, the goal was no more than a consolation as the final score was a 2-1 Nuneaton Borough win.

As we look forward to the game on Tuesday night, let's take a look at Stourbridge's previous five results this season;

24/08 - St Ives Town 0-2 Stourbridge
26/08 - Stourbridge 2-1 Bromsgrove Sporting
31/08 - Peterborough Sports 2-2 Stourbridge
07/09 - Bromsgrove Sporting 0-1 Stourbridge
14/09 - Stourbridge 5-1 Leiston

With 4 wins in their last 5 games, Stourbridge are in scintillating form, full of confidence and will arrive with high expectations.
