Batsman and Bowlers nearing landmarks.

Having given up trying to beat the rain a browse of our early season stats throws up a number of players nearing some notable achievements.

According to our records at the end of last season we have the following players nearing these landmarks........

Keith Greenwood ended last season on 741 career wickets for Nuthurst, he already has 8 wickets this season, only 1 more for 750.

Jonny Willis ended last season on 6,798 career runs for Nuthurst, he has already scored 198 runs this season, so he currently sits on 6,996, 4 more for the 7,000 runs barrier.
In addition his 131 vs Headley was the first occasion this score has been recorded in the century makers list.
Jonny has also moved clear into second place with 10 centuries, only Guy Ekins is ahead on 13.
Interestingly enough Jonny's score was also the 99th on the club list.....who could score the 100th?

Jeremy James ended last season on 373 career wickets for Nuthurst, he already has 14 wickets this season, so on 387, 400 is the target.

Raggy Singh has both batting and bowling achievements to his name. He finished last season on 7,409 career runs for Nuthurst, he has already scored 128 runs this season, meaning he has already crossed the 7,500 run barrier.
In addition he ended on 331 wickets last season, he already has 11 wickets this season, thus currently sits on 342 wickets, 350 looms.

Bob Samways ended last season on 7,396 career runs for Nuthurst, having scored 63 runs this season he sits on 7,459, another 41 and he will become the second player to cross 7,500 runs this season.
