Notice of Nuthurst Cricket Club Annual General Meeting - Thursday, 02-12-2021, 8pm (The Pavilion)
It's that time of year again folks... all members are invited and warmly welcomed.
At the end of a more normal year of cricket, I am pleased to serve notice for and to warmly invite all club members to Nuthurst Cricket Club's Annual General Meeting.
The date is THURSDAY, 2ND DECEMBER 2021.
The meeting start time is 8PM, SHARP.
The location is THE PAVILION, THE COMMON, MANNINGS HEATH.
As should be clear, this year we plan to hold the meeting in person. We invite you to join us for a minced pie, mulled wine, tea & coffee at 7.30pm in advance of the 8pm start. We ask that everyone brings a FACE MASK, that you wear this whilst not drinking / eating and during the AGM itself.
In order that we can plan for seating numbers / refreshments / pies, we would be hugely grateful if you would email, as soon as is practical, me and Annette Keen to:

Per the agenda, should we judge any adverse change relating to the pandemic (regulatory or otherwise) as being too risky for an in-person event, we will host the event via Zoom. We will circulate an online meeting link in that circumstance.
Per the club’s constitution (available via this link), the AGM is open to all club members - players who have paid their membership subscriptions, all named Vice Presidents, Life Members and non-playing Social Members. A member in those categories is entitled to a vote on matters put to the membership at the AGM.
Junior parents are members of the club, are welcome (and positively encouraged) to attend the meeting. Per the constitution, they are non-voting members of the club.
The AGM agenda and draft minutes from the previous AGM held on 10th December 2020 are attached to the bottom of this article for your review.
With regard to Any Other Business, in line with the NCC Constitution, any member must give due notice for items including Any Other Business to be included as part of the agenda.
We look forward to seeing as many club members as possible on the 2nd, to review the year, to elect officers and to look forward to 2022.
