This has been a busy couple of weeks with SIP Build UK delivering the pavilion in bits and day by day the site has changed as what started with a few walls has clearly become a pavilion shape. The latest photos are here for you to enjoy. Many of the club members have had the chance to wander past The Common over the past two weeks and are amazed at the work that has been done. SIP Build UK have all but finished with battening on the roof area ready to receive the Deccra roofing. Before you know it we will have blockwork, windows and doors. The pavilion is really taking shape and it is exciting to watch so if you get the chance have a look for yourself.
Fortunately the neighbours are all pleased with the progress too and very understanding about a little disruption here and there! We live in a fantastic Community and want to say thank you to everyone who has emailed, called or just chatted to the project team to say how pleased they are with progress.
Hopefully we can get rid of the Chaffer beetles that are laying their larvae on The Common and attracting the badgers then we can work on reseeding and getting ready for the season.
