Russ Taylor, Cats U15 Coach writes:

"I decided it would be good to try and get the boys involved in some work, that benefits the wider community and to give something back. To that end, I looked at a couple of options and decided on helping out the Kings Reach Support Services group who are based at Oasis Academy.

They had a garden that had become seriously overgrown and in desperate need to regeneration.
On the 18th August, 11 of the Under 15 players, accompanied by coaches and parents descended on the garden in the pouring rain to spend the day restoring it, bringing back to a garden that could be used. This involved moving rubbish, rubble, broken furniture, cutting back trees, digging up roots and working as a team towards a different goal than playing rugby.
The outcome was achieved and I have attached a thank you letter from the Director of the Kings Reach group at Oasis. (see attached)
It is our intention to repeat this with another new project in the near future.
