Old Cents battled their way to another fine draw at Exmouth on Saturday when they converted a late penalty.
Cents travelled away with a much changed side after last weeks mauling by Exeter University this was through injuries and unavailability, there was 15 players not available this weekend.
With the weakened side many thought the Old Cents would not get anything from this weekends match, however the side that took the field took the game their hosts and were well worth their draw.
Indeed Cents led 24-21 at half time and had scored three tries through Alex Cox, Sam Preece and Marcus Brown with Harry Preece converting all three tries plus a penalty to complete the away sides scoring in the first period.
The second half was a tighter affair and Harry Preece converted two late penalties to ensure a well deserved draw at Exmouth who had won their two previous league matches.
Next week Cents entertain Hornets at home and it is hoped that they will be able to have more players available for first team selection although this weeks team will have a say about that.Cents are still looking to get their first win of the season.
