Ryan Townsend scoops top awards.

Ryan Townsend was the major winner at the end of season awards for Old Cents last night.

Cents held an Australian themed end of season celebration for their end of season awards night.The themed night was held in order to reflect the fact that Ryan Townsend is leaving the club for a period of time and going for an indefinite stay in Australia.
The club has had a great season winning their first historic North Gloucester Combination treble of winning the Senior,Junior and Glanville cup competitions.Apart from Matson and Coney Hill,Cents are the only other club in the combination to win all three competitions in one go and the three cup were presented to their team captains on the night.

The award winners are as follows and is a true reflection of their achievements as voted for by players and committee plus supporters;

Ryan Townsend-Player of the year,supporters player of the year and club Capt's player of the year.

John Huxtable/Charles Lichenstein joint Second team players of the year.
Ben Ellis Second team Capt player of the year.
Luke Jones Best newcomer
Rob Winchle Coaches player of the year.
Owen Chandler Coaches most improved player of the year
Lewis May Top try scorer
Martin Townsend Committeeman of the year
Alan Baldwin Club man of the year.

Paula Noble our Molson Coors rep presented the awards and Coach Jack Preece said
a few words about each award winner.
Creese Brothers provided the Pig Roast with all the trimmings and their was a disco to dance the night away.
