Cents lost again for the fifth time on the road when they lost a high scoring match at Witney.Witney have always been a difficult side for Cents to beat away from home and so it proved in this latest encounter.
Cents were down14-0 after half an hour and at half time they had pulled this back to 20-14 with converted tries by Rueben Goatley and Nathan Stroud with the tries converted by Alex Cox.
However after 69 mins the home side led 44-14 after dominating the opening quarter of the second half and there was no way back for Cents.To their credit Cents never gave in and made the score more respectable when they fought back to 44-33 and they scored tries through Lewis May,Niall Gibbons and Reuben Goatley his second try.Two of the tries were converted by Alex Cox.
