Cents overcome useful Witney side.

Click on above link for Witney match report.
From the published team Italo Carbajal(Peru) started and Dave Knight was on the bench.

The only error on the Witney report is that Harry Preece converted Cents second try not Reece.

Cents seemed to be up for this win today, their first half display was one of their best this season, they were full of running and the handling at times was first class. Also for perhaps the first time this season Cents fielded the same starting line up two games on the trott, something they have not done all season and this perhaps gave the players some stability. The onle changes to the squad were on the bench.
The win keeps Cents in fifth place behind Witney who hold fourth place because they have won more games than Cents but both teams have the same number of points.
Next week Cents play Old Pats in a must win game for the visitors if they are to stay in the promotion hunt.If Cents play with the confidence they showed today then they will turn Pats over and put them out of the promotion race, the home side will be looking for revenge from the previous loss to the away side just before Xmas
