Cents travelled away to Banbury and gave the league leaders a closely fought match despite having another much changed side plus 15 squad members unavailable to play for one reason or another. In fact they travelled away without a recognised scrum half and young Sol Farrer (17) had to step in and did a good job.
Cents did well and came away from Banbury with two bonus points for scoring four tries plus a losing bonus point and before the match Cents would have taken that especially the way Banbury have been playing so far this season. Cents scored their tries through Sol Farrer,Lewis May,Peru and Shay Morgan who also had three conversions.
Cents had their chances to have won this game as before they had scored they had a drop goal attempt comeback off a post plus the referee towards the end of the match could not see a grounding by the away side.Cents also missed a last minute penalty so the result could have been much different.
Cents now have a rest week and they can now regroup and hopefully have some of their injured players back plus not sustaining any more injuries.Cents are at home for their next match against Bicester and their form at the Stade de Bridge has been outstanding this season.
